It may have been the individual cruddiness and not the total number. I still have my hostile responses to spammers from the other boards but not theirs.

Having an online profile that cannot be deleted easily just added aggravation on top of the problem.

In fact, I found both my current and previous (temp) jobs on Careerbuilder (unfortunately, both were through recruiters). So for me it was a gold mine. Well, maybe a tin mine.

I cannot vouch for it's accuracy. I know a few companies on here are H**1B hellholes or just a sh*tty place to work. I blasted through the list checking each company for I/T jobs that I am qualified to do. About 10 had openings. Double checking when I go back to create a profile for those. A few of them also used third party websites. One used Careerdestroyer so I will never apply there.
