Over the last ten years that corporate university and training company market has dried up as Microsoft Office has become pervasive, even in schools. So today I do contract work teaching custom-written in-house software. Have been traveling the last five years, full-time on this IBM contract, and now looking to stay in one place. There were several small shops that specialized in things like MS Word and Excel and the courses ran 2 to 5 days, and then there were the continuing ed programs at the local high school, maybe 5 three-hour evening sessions, one a week. What I'm thinking is that you could research these firms locally, and maybe find enough work to live on.
